Reputation Management in Uncertain Times – Reflecting on Transitions, Principles, What to Say and How to Say It in 2025
Presented by the Mid-Atlantic Region

Thursday, April 10 | 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. CT

LMA Body of Knowledge Domain: Communications
Competency: Reputation Management

2025 is shaping up to be a year of disruption. Law firms, marketers and legal industry communicators are wrestling with how to best position personal and firm reputations to ensure success and synchronicity with internal and external stakeholders. Our panel will look at our current media and marketing landscape, highlighting potential pitfalls, reviewing possible pivots and offering both short- and long-term outlooks.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Consider the divergent pathways for messaging in light of federal edits and finding the best path forward
  • Identify strategies for recalibrating how we talk about workplace belonging without sacrificing gains made and undermining the broader goals
  • Understand the risks of “doxxing” and how this threat has changed
  • Recognize steps to ensure firms, attorneys and legal professionals best protect themselves from privacy intrusions and rumor-mill pillorying
  • Explain reasons for law firms, marketers and legal industry communicators to be optimistic and mission-driven
