As we step into 2025, I am more excited than ever to be a part of the Legal Marketing Association’s Southeast Region. With Local Steering Committees spanning seven states across the Southeast, we are a region rich in connection and opportunity. When I joined LMA in 2012, I could never have imagined the growth and opportunities this organization would provide me. As we look at the year ahead, our focus is on providing high-value educational and networking opportunities tailored to meet the evolving needs of our members.
The Regional Board has been hard at work designing programs focused on member growth. We have so much to offer our members this year, and I encourage you to engage however you can. Here’s a glimpse at just a few of the events planned for you this year:
- Deep Dive Events: We are thrilled to announce two one-day “Deep Dive” events scheduled for 2025. These events will offer in-depth explorations of critical topics impacting legal marketing and leadership development. Our first is the Tech Intensive workshop being held on March 5 in Atlanta. Registration is limited!
- Local Networking and Educational Opportunities: Recognizing the importance of community, our Local Steering Committees have developed a robust calendar of local networking and educational events across our region.
- Virtual Education: Did you know that the Legal Marketing Association offers numerous virtual ways to connect? From webinars and SIGs (Shared Interest Groups) to a library of resources, everything you need to dream, plan, and implement your projects is just a click away.
As you begin this year, I want to remind you that you only get out of the organization what you put into it. There are many ways to get involved, from attending events and participating in Local Steering Committees to volunteering for a Deep Dive planning committee or throwing your hat in the ring for the Regional Board. Your active engagement not only enriches your own professional growth but also strengthens the collective value of our membership. Go make the most of your membership!
