As we reach the midpoint of 2026, I am energized by the momentum our region has built and proud of the creativity, collaboration, and commitment that continue to define the Southeast. This year has already given us so much to celebrate.
Our Tech Intensive in Atlanta this March was a standout success, an event that delivered meaningful education and strengthened the connections that make our region so special. Across the Southeast, our Local Steering Committees have embraced this year’s theme of Alignment with fresh ideas, stronger communication, and a renewed sense of shared purpose.
One of the most exciting additions this year has been our inaugural LSC of the Year competition. Committees are earning points for creativity, engagement, and educational programming, and the results have been inspiring. I have especially enjoyed hearing about the inventive events taking place across the region. One of my favorites so far has been the sailing adventure hosted by one of our LSCs, a perfect example of how our volunteers are thinking boldly about connection and community.
Looking ahead, we are gearing up for our second signature program of the year, the CX Intensive this October. If the energy from our spring programming is any indication, this workshop will be another milestone moment for our region.
We are also deeply grateful for the tremendous support from our sponsors this year. Their partnership fuels our programming, empowers our volunteers, and helps us continue to elevate the member experience. With their support, and with the dedication of our volunteers, we are thrilled to share that we are on track to bring back the full Southeast Regional Conference in 2027.
As always, my goal as your president is to help ensure that every member feels the value of their involvement and sees a place for their voice in shaping our future. The strength of our region comes from you, your ideas, your participation, and your willingness to lead.
