Member Resource Groups

Last year, LMA launched a collection of Member Resource Groups (MRG) to address the varying needs of our diverse membership.

The mission of the LMA’s MRGs is to:

• Provide a safe forum for discussion and exploration of each group’s respective theme
• Enhance leadership and coping skills on sensitive topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Encourage professional development opportunities among LMA minority communities

The groups meet every other month via Zoom and participation is limited to MRG members. If you are interested in becoming a part of this community, click here to join an MRG and find your space and enhance LMA’s inclusive culture.

Member Resource Groups - Supporting LMA's Diverse Membership

LMA has launched three initial Member Resource Groups (MRGs) that are comprised of members who want to further build an inclusive culture, and through participation, offer opportunities to connect with each other and deepen our sense of LMA community. These MRGs include: Allies, LGBTQ+ and Members of Color.

About the DEI Committee 

The DEI Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the LMA Board of Directors, regional governing boards, staff and other LMA leadership bodies about actions that will improve diversity, equity and inclusion of the LMA membership and its programs and services. The committee also supports initiatives that help position LMA within the industry as an advocate for change in this important area.

Shared Interest Group

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Shared Interest Group (SIG) is a forum for those interested in building diverse and inclusive marketing and business development teams and empowering and equipping other LMA members to do so.
