Last year, the International Board of Directors convened to create a new Strategic Plan for the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). While you’ll be hearing more about various aspects of that new plan during 2025, recent troubling events in business and politics require us to put a spotlight now on one of the new plan’s three main goals: To champion LMA’s culture and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
In that spirit, we want to make it clear: The principles of diversity, equity and inclusion have been, remain and will continue to be a vitally important part of everything that LMA does, from our educational programs and initiatives, to our daily interactions with our members and those in the greater legal profession. We are committed to ensuring that every individual, regardless of background, identity or experience has equal access to knowledge and opportunities, feels a sense of belonging and support, and can thrive and succeed in our community.
We recognize that there is always much work to be done to achieve our strategic goals, but we also know that our words and voices matter, both individually and collectively. We strive to create and foster an environment where everyone is heard, valued and respected. We seek your feedback and encourage open dialogue as we continue to build a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
