Melissa Jones, Firm Managing Partner, Stoel Rives LLP
Melissa Jones is the Firm Managing Partner and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. As the Firm Managing Partner, Melissa is responsible for the operational management of the firm, execution of the firm’s strategy and direction, and oversight of the delivery of legal services and business management of the firm. Melissa is in the litigation practice group and has extensive experience litigating claims for breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair competition. She has conducted internal investigations for publicly traded and private companies on complex compliance and accounting issues and has represented companies in government enforcement actions, including matters involving the California Attorney General’s office and the Air Resources Board.
Barb Mica, Chief Operating Officer, Brownstein
Barb Mica leads all administrative and operational functions of the firm including administration, business development/marketing, communications, human resources, information technology, professional development and recruiting. With a background in law firm leadership and deep industry expertise, Barb works directly with the firm’s managing partner and executive committee to oversee operational and administrative processes.
Kerry Price, Chief Strategy Officer, Bass Berry & Sims
Kerry has spent more than 20 years helping companies achieve their growth objectives. She is the chief strategy officer (CSO) for Bass, Berry & Sims, where she is a trusted advisor to the managing partner and the Executive Committee on the firm’s strategic position and tactical execution of both long-term and short-term objectives. As the CSO, she oversees the Marketing and Business Development, Client Value, and Attorney Talent Management departments, creating and aligning initiatives focused on recruiting, nurturing, and growing the firm’s attorney talent and client relationships. Kerry has held multiple positions at Bass, Berry & Sims, most recently serving as the Chief Marketing & Business Development officer.

Society 54 Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Jill Huse is renowned as a trusted professional services advisor. Jill, a certified Business Coach, is highly regarded for her progressive ingenuity, research-based strategy and, most importantly, her ability to deliver results for clients. In addition to her work with Society 54, Jill is also co-founder and CSO of Society Tech, a technology company that utilizes the proprietary software INform54 to help law firms track and analyze their firm performance initiatives to support strategic growth. Jill was inducted into the Legal Marketing Association’s Hall of Fame in 2024 for her leadership and contributions to the association and its membership.
