Sharon Williams transitioned into legal marketing nearly a decade ago, bringing with her a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in high-end event planning. She began in event planning as a Catering Sales Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she led the planning and execution of luxury weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and elite VIP experiences—including overseeing NBC’s most exclusive VIP guests during the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympic Games. Applying this elite service mindset to the legal industry, she has built a career where event planning has been a core responsibility in every role. Sharon’s newest role is Southeast Regional Marketing Services Manager for Barnes & Thornburg, an AmLaw 100 firm, where she manages all phases of client-facing events in the firm’s Atlanta, Raleigh, and Nashville offices.

Cody is a Business Developer at Troutman Pepper Locke, specializing in the Private Equity + Investment Funds (PE+IF) practice. Cody collaborates with internal teams to support the growth of the PE practice and proactively identifies cross-selling opportunities.
