I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Region President this year. LMA has provided me with a strong network of like-minded professionals, given me the tools to expand my professional effectiveness, and provided endless opportunity for continued education in the field. Whether you’re new to the legal marketing profession, an experienced professional, an attorney, or a service provider to law firms, you are welcome here and will find benefit among this membership.
With around 560 members, the Southeast Region covers nine states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Educational and networking events are provided at the local level through Local Steering Committees (LSCs) in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Kentucky, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, South Carolina, South Florida, and Tampa. 2023 was a year of extraordinary growth and meaningful engagement for our region under the leadership of Laura Hudson. In 2024, we will maintain that momentum with a focus on building connections and celebrating our unique contributions. We have a talented Regional Board in place, working alongside energetic local leaders to develop relevant educational programs and beneficial networking opportunities. There will be lunch and learns, practical workshops, social events, coffee and conversations, our legendary regional conference, and more!
I believe if we capitalize on the strengths of each individual, the benefit to the greater membership is limitless. I encourage you to show up and be present this year, virtually and in person. Reach out, raise your hand, and reap the rewards of this network professionally and personally.
