This session will use a case study approach to outline the reasons why traditional law firm metrics increasingly fall short of demonstrating the value of legal work and its impact on client business. It will then outline strategies for the development, implementation, and monitoring/ analysis of operational metrics that law firms can track in order to deliver and demonstrate additional value to their clients (e.g. cycle time, complexity, outcome, etc.)
- Understand the shortcomings of traditional law firm metrics and why additional metrics may be required to demonstrate value to clients.
- Review the process our firms have used to collaboratively develop, implement, and monitor operational metrics with our clients.
