Negotiating effectively can be challenging, whether we are negotiating in our professional or personal lives. Learning effective negotiation strategies can be a game changer and assist with taking our career to the next level.
Marcie Dickson, Founder and CEO of Alterity ADR, will provide us with effective tools and tactics on negotiating. In addition, she will provide insights on how negotiating can transform how we work with our colleagues in the workplace and add value to our teams.

Marcie Dickson - Founder & CEO, Alterity ADR
A respected and experienced executive, Marcie Dickson is pursuing her vision to make ADR transparent and diverse – by opening it up beyond the small club of insiders who dominate the industry. Leveraging nearly 20 years of business development experience– for the last five years, as the only Black Female Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer in ADR nationally, and one of only a handful in the legal industry – Marcie now leads an experienced founding team and a prominent and diverse panel of neutrals, as CEO and Founder of Alterity ADR.
Marcie’s work has been recognized by Bloomberg Law, The American Lawyer, and the American Bar Association. She is a guest host of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section’s podcast, “Resolutions.” She is also a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, the National Bar Association, the American Marketing Association, and the Legal Marketing Association. Marcie is an executive member of the Atlanta Business Chronicle Leadership Trust and the Forbes Business Development Council, and an editorial advisory board member of Southern Lawyer. She is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. Marcie resides with her family in Atlanta.
