Member Resource Groups (MRG)

Supporting LMA's Diverse Membership - MRGs

LMA is excited to launch a collection of Member Resource Groups (MRG) to address the varying needs of our diverse membership. LMA's mission is to advance our legal marketing and BD community and profession. Taking a holistic approach, we realize that innovative ideas come from creating a place for all members to feel valued and heard, and most importantly, where they can bring their whole selves to the table.

To create that space, LMA is launching three initial Member Resource Groups (MRGs), that will be comprised of members who want to further build an inclusive culture, and through participation, offer opportunities to connect with each other and deepen our sense of LMA community. The mission of LMA MRGs is to:

  • Provide a safe forum for discussion and exploration of the group’s theme
  • Enhance leadership and coping skills on sensitive topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Encourage professional development opportunities among LMA minority communities

LMA is pleased to launch these Member Resource Groups this fall. The MRGs will meet every other month via Zoom and participation will be limited to MRG members.

In this session, we will discuss strategies for managing stress, setting boundaries, and seeking support, as well as share resources for mental health support available both within and outside the workplace.
