Call for Proposals -
2025 Tech West and Southwest Regional Conference
Proposals Due June 1
The West and Southwest Regions of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) are once again joining forces to present Tech West by Southwest (TW x SW)—a premier event exploring the intersection of technology, business development, and marketing in the legal industry.
As innovation continues to reshape how we connect with clients and each other, this conference offers a platform to collaborate, learn, and lead through change.
This year's conference kicks off on Monday, October 27, with two pre-conference panels presented by LMA Next and CMOs—one tailored for chief marketing officers, and the other for up-and-coming professionals in the LMA Next community.
From Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon, TW x SW will feature three educational tracks:
- Business Development & Sales
- Marketing & Communications
- Technology to Support Growth and Revenue Generation
We invite experienced, dynamic, and engaging presenters to submit proposals that align with these tracks. Sessions should explore current trends, emerging innovations, and practical solutions in legal marketing and business development. Presentations should emphasize hands-on learning and real-world application.
Sample topics include (but are not limited to):
- Artificial Intelligence and Legal Tech
- Business Development Strategy and Execution
- Communications and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Event Management
- Leadership, Presentation, and Professional Development
- Public Relations and Strategic Planning
- Sales Enablement and Client Experience
- Research, Analytics, and Technology Tools
We strongly encourage interactive session formats and engaging presentation styles. Ideal sessions will incorporate tools and techniques such as worksheets, case studies, role plays, group discussions, live problem-solving, and tangible takeaways.
Participants should leave each session with:
- Actionable strategies
- Practical skills
- Useful materials or tools they can immediately implement
Speakers should be prepared to address professionals at various career levels—junior, mid-level, and senior—and ensure relevance for a range of firm sizes, including small, midsize, large, and plaintiff firms.
Before submitting, please ensure all presenter information and session materials are complete.
The submission form is now closed.
