2023 LMA Southeast Call for Presenters

The Legal Marketing Association’s Southeast Region is seeking experienced and dynamic presenters for the 2023 LMASE Regional Conference, taking place November 8-10 in Nashville, TN. All submissions are due by Monday, June 19 at Noon EDT.

This year’s conference, “Harmony: Striking the Right Chord,” is a nod to our host city and will feature a diverse program that encourages topics focusing on the cohesion between people, processes, knowledge, and innovation in law firms.

Our goal is to have impactful programming that is:

  • Interactive: Content is delivered with attendee engagement in mind. Workshops, roundtables, fishbowls, TED-style talks and other engaging formats are strongly encouraged.
  • Practical: Provides useful takeaways, templates, and ideas that attendees can implement in their own organizations.
  • Focused: Content reinforces the theme. Your proposal should articulate how the topic weaves together two or more areas of focus within a firm (e.g. people and innovation or processes and knowledge management) and/or two or more areas of focus within LMA’s Body of Knowledge.
  • Be Creative! Use the conference theme to inform your topic and description.

Submission Process + Timeline

The Call for Speakers submission is open Wednesday, May 17 through Wednesday, June 14 at 5:30 pm EDT. Late proposals will not be accepted. By submitting a proposal, you are committing to speaking in-person at the conference.

Proposals will be asked to include a written connection between the topic and how it relates to harmony and cohesion. Click here for a sample proposal submission form. • Be specific. Tell us how you will engage and educate your audience.
  • Clearly articulate:
    • How your presentation ties back to harmony
    • Takeaways attendees will gain from your session
    • Tools that attendees can take to their firms and implement immediately
    • Whether the session be interactive, and how
    • Types of materials you will provide
