Join LMA-KC for our inaugural holiday luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 3, at Polsinelli's Kansas City office. Enjoy a great catered meal, socialize with other legal marketers and grab some LMA Midwest-branded swag. Food will be provided by The Granfalloon. If you have dietary restrictions, please email us when you register to let us know. Free, on-site parking will be available. We're encouraging attendees to bring items for The Children's Place food pantry. The Children's Place is a specialized trauma treatment center that serves the mental health needs of young children in the Kansas City metro. At the end of each week, The Children’s Place sends home a backpack filled with food for the children in its Day Treatment Program, ensuring that each child has enough food to eat throughout the weekend.Items that are most needed are below:
Non-Perishable Meals & Proteins
- Canned ravioli/SpaghettiOs.
- Canned soups.
- Canned tuna/chicken.
- Pasta/ramen noodles.
- Pasta sauce.
- Cereal, like Cheerios, Total, Life, Shredded Wheat, or Frosted Flakes (individual boxes).
- Instant oatmeal (individual packages).
- Milk (individual packages, shelf-stable).
- Cereal bars (no nuts).
- Fruit cups.
- Applesauce (individual packages).
- Dried fruit/raisins/craisins (individual packages).
- Snacks like crackers, Goldfish, cookies, etc. (individual packages).
- Instant mashed potato packets.
- Rice packets/Rice-A-Roni.
