Building mutually beneficial and long-term relationships is an essential and ongoing part of your role as a service professional. Whether supporting business development and marketing initiatives or playing a leadership role, you are called upon to tap into both hard (technical) and soft (interpersonal) skills in your interactions with your colleagues, leaders and lawyers.

Developing a coaching mindset and approach amplifies the way you offer subject matter expertise and engage in collaborative conversations. The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with someone in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their professional and personal potential. Coaching unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.

Join us as we highlight key coaching competencies and discuss how to integrate them into your role as a team member, leader or advisor to legal professionals.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  • What is coaching?
  • Which coaching competencies help to deepen relationships?
  • How can I use a coaching approach in business development and marketing?
  • What role does my mindset play in coaching?
To submit a question in advance, please email Katherine Hutchinson  at hutchinsonk@bennettjones.com.
