Social Media is Changing. How Should Legal Marketers Respond?
Wednesday, February 12 | 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Since the advent of social media, legal marketers have been challenged to understand, integrate, and keep up with the many platforms' constant changes. But in the past few months, we have seen significant evolutions that go beyond new features and functionalities. Now, recent changes may directly affect law firms' policies and best practices. Join Hilary Engel, Social Media Manager at Faegre Drinker, and Nancy Myrland, of Myrland Marketing & Social Media, as they share their thoughts and insights and facilitate conversation on this timely topic.

Hilary L. Engel, M.A.
Social Media Manager
Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP
From the rise and fall of MySpace (and TikTok?) to the advent of platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky, Hilary Engel has seen it all when it comes to social media. As Faegre Drinker’s social media manager, she leverages over a decade of experience with digital marketing and communications to handle all things social media — be it writing posts, social listening, community management, advertising, data analysis and reporting, finding just the right graphic, making reels, or providing support and training to colleagues. Previously, Hilary held key positions at Hinshaw & Culbertson, where she was responsible for creating digital marketing communications content and managing attorney biographies. Her time in the legal industry began at Stoel Rives, where she was a core member of the client services team.
